Arthur Levesque, CP, OTR/L, CLT has worked in the field of occupational therapy for approximately twenty years. He has been both lead therapist and Rehabilitation Director for two inpatient rehab hospitals affiliated with the prestigious University of Massachusetts Medical Hospital network. In addition to his background in acute rehab and outpatient settings, Arthur has considerable experience in skilled nursing & long-term care environments. Arthur’s work in the field of occupational therapy has been presented at the Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Association. He has also presented at the National Alzheimer’s Association Conference and at state chapters. He recently presented his work on Low Vision at the 2014 American Occupational Therapy Association in Baltimore, Maryland. Over the years, Arthur has been published in several rehabilitation periodicals. His articles explore the intrinsic role occupational therapy plays in the care of patients in the healthcare continuum. Arthur has co-authored a pain management protocol for one of the leading inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in Massachusetts. He has helped to develop Seating & Positioning outpatient clinics as well as Driving Clinics in Massachusetts. He assumes his new role as OT Clinical Specialist after having worked as a Kindred Healthcare Clinical Performance Specialist for the last eight years.
Fun Facts About Arthur – Arthur is an avid reader of the life and times of John Adams and John Quincy Adams. He is proficient in French and studied abroad in Europe for a time. He is very proud of his Irish heritage and celebrates Saint Patrick’s Day each year to the fullest.
